ABOUT THE OKAY ARTIST

I'm The Okay Artist, A.K.A. Ashley Braun. 

I'm an artist and designer living in beautiful Daylesford, Australia. I paint things I think are okay. Anything that catches my eye really, but mostly old-school technology, products with cute packaging, and other interesting everyday or nostalgic items. If I was into wanky-art-speech, I'd probably say it's a graphic, pop-art comment on consumerism or something...

I like to create art that's fun and affordable, not too fussy and fancy. I prefer to paint things little wonky, wild, and well... okay. They are designed to work individually, but I think they look even more okay as a group. 

Other things I find okay are puppies, mid-century furniture, nature, carbs and shiraz.
